North Haven Hospice provides specialist palliative care to those living with life-limiting illness, and their families. A non-profit organisation, a large portion of Hospice's income comes from the "hive of activity" that is the Hospice Shop.
Aware of the important role North Haven Hospice plays in the Northland community, Harcourts Whangarei has come on board to support the annual running costs of the Hospice Shop trucks. Integral to the running of the Hospice Shop, used every day to collect and transport donated goods, deliver items purchased in the store and for deliveries to and from North Haven Hospice, our sponsorship allows Hospice to operate the trucks easily, and without concern for their costs.

In December 2012, Harcourts Whangarei, in conjunction with On the Edge Gallery, hosted a charity art auction in the name of North Haven Hospice. All pieces were donated by local artists, with all proceeds going straight to Hospice.
Thanks to the generous efforts of those that attended, all 23 pieces sold, and over $8,000 was raised for Hospice. A resounding success, Harcourts and On the Edge are looking to make the Hospice Charity Art Auction an annual event.
